Award Winning Tenor Coming Soon to Buda Library

Venezuelan José Grell has won countless awards at home and abroad such as first place at the First International Singing Competition “Ismaele Voltoline” in Mantova, Italy and first place in Peru at the Festival of Ancon. He took fifth place at the International Singing Contest “Luciano Pavarotti” in Philadelphia.  His repertoire ranges from oratorio, chamber music, recital, to opera zarzuela and operetta, with all the Symphonic Orchestras of Venezuela, RAI Rome Symphony of Bogota, and Guatemala Symphony.  He has also played major roles in the various assemblages of Zarzuela and Operetta in Venezuela, Colombia and the United States.

What a privilege it is for the Buda Library to offer a free performance by this amazing talent.  José Grell performs Tuesday, April 13th from 6:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Following the concert, please enjoy scrumptious refreshments provided by Palmar Restaurant.
