Tuesday, April 13th: A Taste of Mexico
5:30 pm Lori Ruge-Jones shares bilingual stories
6:00 pm Jose Grell, Award Winning Tenor sings romantic Spanish songs
7:00 pm Palmar Restaurant provides scrumptious Mexican refreshments

Wednesday, April 14th: How to Read the Wall Street Journal; 6:30 pm
Find out what the Journal has to offer readers and how to scan and dissect it for useful information and perspective. A free copy of the Wall Street Journal will be provided to the first 25 participants.

It guides you through constructing a resume, provides over 1,000 sample resumes and cover letters for you to view, and tips on how to prepare for interviews and salary negotiations. What is Buda Job Search?

Out of work? About to be out of work? Looking to return to work? Or looking for a new job?

Buda Job Search is a professionally run program that builds your job searching skills. Learn to find the jobs, write cover letters that work, build a better resume and enhance your job interview skills. It is a four session program offered absolutely free to those looking for jobs.

This is not a support group or a job fair. These sessions are designed to enhance your skills to make your job search as efficient and effective as possible.

Sessions:
June 12th: Cover Letters that Connect
June 19th: Build a Better Resume
June 26th: Interview Skills

Instructor Mike Carroll is a Buda resident and college instructor. He was a Human Resources executive for more than 20 years. He has recruited, interviewed and hired hundreds of workers.
